20/08/06 Nic helps out Russell with Brian, Patrick and John at Suwon Soccer Stadium. Brian and Patrick finished all confined skills and are ready for the sea. 5/08/06 Mark, Chris and Gary complete the open water section of their courses in fine style. Brian and Amanda again hosted the most outstanding BBQ right on the dive platform as the sun went down. Outstanding! Dan, Dan and Gary explored the boat and beach diving. 15/07/06 Mark, Chris and Gary from Camp Eagle complete their pool training in Suwon. Brian and Amanda were also in the pool to hone skills and give Nic a lesson on the art of Lemon Soju drinking. Ouch. 08/07/06 Kevin does a scuba review in preparation for a dive trip to Japan. 30/06/06 Brian, Amanda and Liz complete their dive courses. Brian amazes everyone with his cooking skills! Dan and Terry came on the tour and did beach and boat diving. 06/06/06 Osan AB students complete their academic component of the course. As Christine's was shut we had to fight the loudspeakers as we sampled various "classrooms". Well done Nic for quitting smoking and drinking for 45 minutes! 20/05/06 David, Jason, Alec and Dan do confined water dives 1-4 over the weekend. As ever the students were outstanding and all skills were completed. 07/05/06 Messie (Lee Myeung Ja) makes more progress with her diving in the Suwon pool. 29-30/04/06 Another great weekend! Helping with Russell's students, a scuba review and and Advance Open Water. Messie tried her hand again and progressed through more skils. Good job everyone :) In addtion, Messie takes a strong liking to her new pink fins. 22/04/06 Messie does an oustanding job! Russell amazes everyone with his Giant Stride Entries. They look like so much fun Nic has to amaze everyone too. Hopefully we won't be banned from the pool. 16/04/06 Suwon Scuba Club laughs at child labour laws by employing a 12 year old. Jinwon "Ajima" Lee will monitor t-shirt levels and order new shirts. She will also police the club store of Padi teaching materials. Welcome to the club! 09/04/06 Nic and Russell with the able assistance of Messie certified 5 Open Water students at Moon Arm resort. Well done everyone! 01/04/06 Nic and Russell took 5 students through confined water 1-4 of the Padi Open Water course. 11/03/06 Messie, Russ and Nic certified a very brave Lee in an icy lake. 04/03/06 Nic and Russ explore lakes near the DMZ for suitable conditions for certification tours. Guess what? We found one! 25/02/06 Nic and Messie donate a Padi Open Water course to the Yong Tong orphanage charity. Ironically, although we won the pub quiz, we didn't win the dive course. Congratulations to Amy Nemeth for winning. 25/02/06 Nic joins Russell and Lee from Deep Blue Quest at the dive exhibition and Padi conference in Seoul. 14/02/06 Messie Lee become the official tour guide for Suwon Scuba Club. She is a very welcome addition to the team! 29/10/05 Suwon Scuba Club joined Deep Blue Quest for another trip to Moon Arm Resort. Two Open Water Divers certified and 3 Rescue Divers! Mike showed himself to be made of the right stuff and I hope I am present when he is certified. 23/10/05 Suwon Scuba Club joined Deep Blue Quest in Sockcho for anther great weekend. In spite of challenging conditions Russ's students performed like champions. Just more proof that Russ takes the time to really prepare his students in the pool and classroom before hitting the sea. 09/10/05 DJ and Marianne did an outstanding job and become Korea's newest Open Water Divers. 03/10/05 DJ excels at confined water 3&4. DJ and Marianne are ready for the sea! 24/09/05 Nic represents Suwon Scuba Club in Jeju with Deep Blue Quest. 19/09/05 DJ and Simon complete confined water 1 & 2 at Suwon soccer stadium. 17/09/05 Club gets message board. 15/09/05 DHL messes up first order from Padi. 15/09/05 Suwon scuba club gets a web site. 11/09/05 Sarah completes confined water 1 and 2 in Jamsil. 11/09/05 Marianne completes her confined water dives in Jamsil. 28/08/05 Nic got his instructors certificate in Phuket, Thailand. |
